Blame Lucy band

From the heartland, gray dot records welcomes Blame Lucy, its newest addition to its hit pop roster of Age of Faith, My Friend Stephanie, and The Miscellaneous. Blame Lucy's appearance on the scene is deceptively new: the band actually has a proven track record of success on air (with strong airplay from WAY-FM and Radio U FM), as well as spots on two Star Song compilations (Heavy Righteous Metal, Chapter II and Brave New Music) under the moniker, "Legacy."

Blame Lucy has shown a typical gray dot artist's passion for obsessive touring and promotion as well as a heart for the churched but directionless youth of today. Blame Lucy's four members are all full-time touring musicians who are at home playing in church gyms and in clubs -- bringing their message of salvation and responsibility to every show. Fans of Audio Adrenaline and Plankeye will find everything to like in Blame Lucy! Be sure to also visit their home page.

About the Name
The band's name, "Blame Lucy," was arrived at during a "name game" contest hosted on Radio U FM in Columbus, OH, and is derived from the idea we "Blame Lucifer" for bringing sin into God's creation.

Mission Statement
As time continues to affect the musical styles that are accepted by the listening public, not one second passes by that Blame Lucy is not striving to grab their attention through each new genre of sound. This band has boldly accepted the responsibility placed on them to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We won't use God as a "gimmick" to become a successful band. He has opened some remarkable doors -- Blame Lucy has walked through them, and continue to follow in the footsteps of "the One who has gone before."
